Can I use Rumus for free?

Yes! The Free plan includes all core terminal features, SSH/SFTP support, workspaces, and local vault storage. You can also bring your own API keys to use AI features without a paid subscription.

What is a token?

A token is a unit of text processed by an LLM (roughly 3–4 characters of English text). With token-based billing, you're only charged for the text your prompts and responses actually consume. Costs vary by model; hosted usage is billed at the API list price plus a Rumus Token Fee.

Do I get any free credits when I subscribe?

Yes! The Pro plan includes $5 in AI credits every month. Credits are granted automatically when your subscription renews. You can also recharge your balance if you need more. Note: invitation code grants unlock all Pro features (cloud sync, AI access, etc.) but do not include monthly credits — you can recharge or bring your own API keys to use AI.

What's your refund policy?

Pro subscription fees are fully refundable within 14 days. Recharged balance that has already been consumed and promotional credits are non-refundable.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. All vault data (hosts, SSH keys, credentials) is end-to-end encrypted before being synced. We cannot access or decrypt your sensitive data. Only you, with your encryption key, can access it.

Can I use Rumus without the AI features?

Absolutely. Rumus is a full-featured terminal first. You can disable all AI features in settings and use it purely as a terminal with SSH, SFTP, workspaces, vault, and everything else — no account or subscription required.
