Problem Statement

Rumus has several issues on Ubuntu 24.04:

  1. The window cannot display the acrylic transparency effect.

  2. There is significant lag when typing commands in the terminal.

  3. Tab completion does not work.

Troubleshooting Attempts

I have tried several attempts to resolve problems, including upgrading the NVIDIA driver and switching to integrated graphics. When using the integrated GPU, issues #1 and #2 are resolved immediately. Therefore, I suspect this may be related to compatibility issues with the NVIDIA GPU.

Thank you for the detailed feedback and system information.

We have reviewed your report, but unfortunately, we haven’t been able to reproduce the same issues on our end. Please note that due to the complexity of Linux environments, we cannot guarantee full stability when using X11 in combination with NVIDIA GPUs.

We recommend upgrading your Linux kernel and NVIDIA drivers to the latest available versions to see if that resolves the rendering and lag issues. Thank you for your understanding!
